Happy Birthday, Joseph

This is the slideshow we made last year of Joseph's life. We've added one more song that Allen wrote, called "Back Home." (This isn't the official polished version as it is still in production, but the slideshow distorts so much of the music that you can't tell.) Thanks again to John Moessner who worked for peanuts.

Happy Birthday, Joe P.! We miss you more than words can say. One day we'll all be back home and what rejoicing there will be!

Happy Birthday to Joseph! Your words are beautiful Gillian as you share your thoughts and emotions with us. Words are not enough to say how much we are sad with you ! I remember his little face so well, even though I didn't know him well... I loved watching him with Allen in the lobby of the church as you left nursery. We pray the GREAT love of the Father will be with you today and everyday! I pray that you will know how long and wide, how high and how deep he loves you!

Oh the tears is right! We miss you my brave friend! As I look at you playing with Holly in these pictures, it reminds me of one of the last times I saw you...you and Holly were playing at the house together and you were being SO sweet to her. I think you gave her one of your cars to hold!! I know she misses you so much! Praying for all of you.

Gillian, thanks for posting this again. Allen, the songs are beautiful and it's through tears and smiles that I watched it. Joseph lived every day to the fullest didn't he? Every moment was an adventure for him. I loved watching the world through his eyes. Joe P. had his mommy's generous spirit and beautiful smile and his daddy's keen sense of humor. He taught me how to be a "Mimi"and how to enjoy the smallest things that most of us don't even notice. My life is richer because of having Joseph as my grandson. Happy Birthday, Joseph. Love, Mimi

I felt privileged to watch the balloons go up to Joseph today as Kathy's class released them. I thought of how much Joseph would have loved seeing all of those kids running and cheering for their balloon to "win" and go the highest. Thank you for sharing the slideshow of your beautiful boy and the beautiful songs. You are all in our prayers.

I've been thinking of you guys all week long knowing these days were approaching. Gillian, your words are so beautiful and Allen, your music and lyrics are amazing. I hope both outlets can bring some comfort and healing to your great loss. And then one day, as you said, there will be great rejoicing when you are reunited.

I pray for you guys every day, b/c every day I cannot wrap my mind around YOUR every day. Praying for strength in each and every moment until the day that our Father reunites all of you-

So much love to you guys-

I never knew your sweet boy but was certainly touched and brought to tears by his story. I pray that you are comforted today for God is near to the brokenhearted.
